Instead of Majin Mushroom I suggest something along the line of samurai, like Mushroom Shogun or something, because I think demon when I hear majin.
For the two birds with different colors, I was thinking something along the lines of dee and dum from the characters Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, but then I thought 'Chick Peas' as a label for both of them, but just leave the color variation, for example pokemon did this with shellot and gastrodon.
Besides this I really like the work
hehehe how about Mobun for the mochi bunnies then Bonbun for the bon-bon ones ....
